What this website collects, why, and how to ask us to change or delete it. Effective October 17, 2026.

What we collect
What you give us. Your email address when you type it into an email box or the estimator, and anything you add, such as what you need, your answers in the estimator and the plans you save.
How you use the site. The pages you visit, the page you arrived on and the site that sent you, your estimator runs, your browser type and your IP address. If you arrived from an ad, we keep the ad's click ID and campaign tags (for example gclid or utm_campaign).
Approximate location. The estimator asks ipapi.co for the state your IP address belongs to, so it can tell you whether you are in our installation area. You can type a ZIP code instead.
Cookies and similar storage
We set one cookie of our own (fpt_vid), which recognises your browser for about 13 months, and keep where you came from in your browser's storage for 90 days. Google Analytics and Google Ads, loaded through Google Tag Manager, set their own cookies to measure visits and ad results. Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a real person, not a bot, is sending a form.
How we use it
To answer your request and send what you asked for, including the plan from the estimator and a small number of follow-up emails; to see which pages and ads bring inquiries; to stop spam and abuse; and to improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run the site and our email: Google (Workspace email, Analytics, Ads and Tag Manager), Cloudflare (Turnstile) and ipapi.co, and our hosting provider. Google Ads may be told that a visit from an ad led to an inquiry. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.
Emails from us
If you leave your email, we send what you asked for and may follow up a few times. Reply "stop" to any email, or write to us, and we stop.
How long we keep it
Visit records for browsers that never contacted us are deleted after about 13 months. Inquiries are kept as business records while they are useful. Ask us and we delete yours.
Your choices
Email projects@foodprotec.com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, turn off personalised ads in your Google account's ad settings, and stop Google Analytics with Google's opt-out browser add-on.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not meant for children under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
